Who attends?
It would be easier to say who doesn’t. We have young and old, single and married, those with and without children, and various races and ethnic backgrounds..
What should I wear?
At Ridgewood, you come as you are. You will see members in suits and dresses as well as jeans and T-shirts. We don’t make a big issue about how you are dressed. Sunday and Wednesday night Bible Studies are casual and informal even for the pastoral staff.
Who are you affiliated with?
We are affiliated with the Roanoke Valley Baptist Association, the Baptist General Association of Virginia, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
What is the music like?
We have a mix of traditional hymns, contemporary choruses, choir specials as well as individual soloist and groups in our 11 am Service
May I bring my children?
YES! You may have your baby in the service with you or take advantage of our nursery and its caring adults. We also have a toddler room for ages 2-3. During the 11 am Service we have a children's worship program called Children's Church for ages 4 through 2nd grade. Children can remain with their parents or be seated on the left front pew with the Children’s Church Workers. They leave as a group part way into our service (following the offering time). click here
What is in store for my teenagers?
Our Youth Group meets on Sundays evenings at 6 pm and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Before and after service, they can hang out in the Youth Room filled with video games, foozeball and other games. They also enjoy monthly activities and outings. click here
Where do I park?
We have a top, side and bottom parking lot. We do have handicap parking available.
Where do I go?
Ushers and greeters are on the parking lots and inside entrances 15 minutes berfore start times to help direct you to where you would need to go.
